The CBI has approached the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of bail granted to former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav in a Fodder Scam case. The CBI argued that Yadav was playing badminton after being released on bail on medical grounds. Yadav's counsel opposed the cancellation, stating that he recently underwent a kidney transplant. Yadav has already served 42 months in prison and has been sentenced in five cases of the Rs 950 crore fodder scam. The Supreme Court has adjourned the matter to October 17.
