Chinese real estate company Country Garden Holdings will be removed from Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index on September 4th, following the benchmark's quarterly review. The company will be replaced by pharmaceutical firm Sinopharm. Country Garden Services Holdings, an affiliate of Country Garden, will also be removed from the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index and will be replaced by online travel agency Trip.com. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index serves as a benchmark for mainland securities listed in Hong Kong.
