Gujarat: 45 Pakistani Hindus Detained in Banaskantha for Overstaying After Visa Expiry

Forty-five Pakistani Hindus were detained in Gujarat's Banaskantha for overstaying in India after their visas expired. Their applications for long-term visas were rejected. The detainees had come to India to visit Haridwar and meet their relatives. They had been in India for two months with valid visas but had overstayed. They were detained in Banaskantha for the last four to five days, and the process of sending them back to Pakistan was underway.
