TV presenter Phil Spencer’s parents killed in car crash on family farm

TV Presenter Phil Spencer's parents, Richard and Anne, were killed in a car crash on their family farm in Kent. The couple, aged 89 and 82 respectively, were pulled from the vehicle by emergency services after it careered into a river. Richard was pronounced dead in hospital, while Anne died shortly afterwards. Another woman in her 60s, who was travelling with them, sustained minor injuries. Phil Spencer's co-host, Kirstie Allsopp, paid tribute to his parents and mentioned that it was a comfort that they were together when they died. The cause of the accident is currently unknown.
