Escaped Taiwanese drug lord ran trafficking ops from Cambodia prison

A Taiwanese Drug Lord, Chen Hsin Han, who was freed from a 52-year jail sentence by masked gunmen during a dental visit, was found to have been conducting drug trafficking operations from Cambodia to Taiwan in 2020 while still in prison. Court documents reveal that Chen managed to smuggle nearly 2 kilograms of heroin to Taiwan using a middleman he met while incarcerated. It is unclear if Cambodian prison authorities were aware of his activities. Chen's escape was carried out by five men who pointed guns at prison guards accompanying him. Six men connected to the escape have been arrested, but Chen remains at large.
