Michael Oher, former NFL tackle and inspiration for ‘The Blind Side,’ sues to end conservatorship

Michael Oher, the former Nfl Tackle who inspired the movie "The Blind Side," has filed a petition in a Tennessee probate court to end the conservatorship held by Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, who he claims lied to him and enriched themselves at his expense. Oher is requesting a full accounting of the money earned from his name and story, as well as compensation and damages. The Tuohys, who are portrayed as Oher's adoptive parents in the movie, have not yet responded to the allegations. Oher played in the NFL for eight seasons before retiring in 2016.
