Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated the Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express with Tejas rakes in Odisha. The train has modern facilities, including automatic entrance doors, passenger announcement system, smoke detection and fire suppression system, and CCTV cameras. It can run at a maximum speed of 160 kmph and will have 13 stoppages between Bhubaneswar and New Delhi. Vaishnaw also announced that a second Vande Bharat Express will soon be launched in Odisha, running from Rourkela to Bhubaneswar. He mentioned that the railway tracks laid annually have significantly increased and Odisha's railway grant has also been raised.
