The Youth Hostel in Khuman Lampak, Imphal, has been transformed into a sanctuary for pregnant and lactating women who have been displaced due to unrest in Manipur. The relief camp, organized under the auspices of the BJP Manipur, provides support and care to these women, including medical attention and nutrition assistance. Since its inception, 91 pregnant women have sought shelter at the camp, with 44 giving birth there. Currently, 28 pregnant women are awaiting the arrival of their babies. The camp is a symbol of hope and compassion amidst challenging circumstances, with the women yearning for peace to be restored in Manipur.
