South Africa: Springboks say they will not fake an injury to call up Pollard for World Cup

South Africa's rugby coach Jacques Nienaber has denied rumors that one of the players selected for the Rugby World Cup would fake an Injury to include fly-half Handre Pollard as a late replacement. Pollard, who was a key player in the 2019 World Cup-winning team, was left out of the squad due to a calf injury. Nienaber confirmed that the squad has not been finalized and will be submitted to World Rugby on August 21. Springboks captain Siya Kolisi is confident of being fit for their first World Cup match against Scotland on September 10.
