A local pub in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, was targeted in a "vandalistic attack" where a pig's head was pinned to the Door and posters accusing two locals of being police informants were left at the scene. The owners of the Coach and Horses pub, Kay Bell and Deb Doyle, distanced themselves from the incident and the allegations. CCTV footage showed five individuals wearing balaclavas carrying out the attack. One of the accused men strongly denied being a police informant and stated that the incident was affecting his livelihood. Police are taking the incident seriously and have launched an investigation.
