In Freak Incident, 35-year-old Tribal Man Killed as Stray Bullet Hits Him While Hunting in Andhra Pradesh

A 35-year-old tribal man named B Bonjubabu was killed by a stray bullet while on a hunting expedition in a forest area in Andhra Pradesh's Alluri Sitharama Raju district. The incident occurred near Vana Kunthuru village, and the accused, Y Suribabu, had mistaken Bonjubabu for a wild boar and fired the shot. The police and forest department personnel have launched an investigation, and a case has been registered under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act. This incident is similar to a case that occurred in the district in October 2020.
