A six-year-old girl was killed by a Leopard in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh's Tirupathi district. The girl, who was from Nellore district, had gone missing while walking to Tirumala for darshan. Her body was found at the Lakshminarasimhaswamy temple. Her parents filed a complaint with the police and a search operation was conducted, leading to the discovery of blood stains and the girl's half-eaten body. Earlier this year, a five-year-old boy was also attacked by a leopard in Tirumala.
