UK Funding for fixing Potholes has decreased by 51% since 2006, according to analysis by the Local Government Association (LGA). The LGA compared data from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and found that the UK spent less on local road repairs than most other similarly developed nations. The number of potholes in the UK continues to rise, with the Asphalt Industry Alliance estimating that it would cost £14 billion ($19 billion) to fix them all.
