Ninth Francophonie Games marked as ‘success’

The head of the International Committee of the Ninth Francophonie Games, Zeina Mina, has praised the event as a success despite previous postponements and uncertainties. The games, which took place in Kinshasa from July 28 to August 6, saw the participation of 37 countries and approximately 3,533 participants. Mina commended the host country for successfully organizing and delivering the games and emphasized the importance of utilizing the infrastructure to benefit the Congolese youth. She also highlighted that the games aim to train referees and event organizers and develop physical education programs.
