Chhouk, an 11-year-old Asian elephant residing at the Wildlife Alliance conservation organization in Cambodia, has received a Prosthetic Foot made out of recycled car tires and tow truck strapping every six months. The prosthetic is replaced regularly due to Chhouk's growth, and it weighs about 20kg (44 pounds). The Paradise Wildlife Park in the UK has been sending payments to cover the cost of the prosthetics. Chhouk's resilience and determination in the face of adversity highlight the beauty and potential of these majestic creatures.
