A 24-year-old tradesman has died after being electrocuted while working in Perth's north. The man was found dead in the roof space of a property in Nollamara. The state government and WorkSafe will be investigating the incident. The man was only supposed to work a half day before going home. Family members of the homeowners reported hearing a loud bang and the man yelling before emergency services arrived. Energy Safety Director Saj Aboolakhan said they are trying to determine why the power was still on while the man was working in the roof.
