Salesforce-owned Slack says service restored after brief messaging outage

Slack, the workplace messaging app owned by Salesforce, experienced a brief outage on Thursday morning, with Users Reporting Issues sending messages. However, the service was restored shortly after, and users were advised to reload their apps to see the restoration. The problems started just before 5 a.m. ET and peaked at around 5:30 a.m., with 5,000 users reporting issues. Tests conducted by CNBC confirmed that messages were now sending.
