Microsoft reports slowing Azure cloud revenue growth

Microsoft reported its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings, revealing an 8% year-over-year revenue increase. However, the growth has been below 10% for three consecutive quarters, a trend not seen since 2017. The Intelligent Cloud segment contributed $23.99 billion in revenue, with Azure revenue growing at 26% in the quarter, slightly below expectations. Microsoft's Productivity and Business Processes segment saw a 10% revenue increase, while the More Personal Computing business experienced a decline of about 4%. The company's operating expenses rose 2% due to a fine from Ireland's Data Protection Commission. Microsoft's shares slipped 1% in after-hours trading.
