Delhi Police Prohibits Paragliders, Drones in City from July 22 to August 16

The Delhi Police have prohibited the flying of paragliders, hang-gliders, and hot air balloons in the national capital from July 22 to August 16 for security reasons, ahead of the Independence Day celebrations on August 15. The order was issued due to the potential threat posed by criminal elements, anti-social elements, or terrorists using these aerial platforms. Violating the order will be punishable under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code. The ban will be in effect for 26 days unless withdrawn earlier.
