Volvo Cars will use Tesla’s Superchargers but not its autonomous driving tech. Its CEO explains why

Volvo Cars CEO, Jim Rowan, stated that the company will not use Tesla's Autonomous Driving technology and will instead focus on developing its own systems. Volvo Cars had previously announced an agreement with Tesla to access its Superchargers, but they want full control over their advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous driving software. The company reported strong sales performance in electric cars, with a 178% increase in sales of fully electric models. Volvo Cars aims to have all its vehicles fully electric by 2030. Rowan also discussed the normalization of lithium prices and improved semiconductor supply.
