Tesla announces its 1st electric pickup truck has rolled off the assembly line

Tesla has announced that its first production Cybertruck Electric Pickup has been completed in its Texas factory, almost two years behind schedule. The company shared a photo on Twitter showing workers surrounding the truck. Elon Musk, Tesla's owner, retweeted the post. The Cybertruck's production was initially slated to start in late 2021, but Tesla has since stated that production would begin slowly and in smaller quantities. The unique design of the Cybertruck, with its stainless-steel exoskeleton, has been criticized by some analysts as a niche product. Competitors such as Ford and Rivian have also entered the electric truck market.
