A new Poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research shows that the majority of U.S. adults, including those living in states with strict Abortion limits, want abortion to be legal at least through the initial stages of pregnancy. The poll, conducted one year after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, found that about two-thirds of Americans believe abortion should generally be legal, but only about a quarter believe it should always be legal. The poll also found that 1 in 10 Americans know someone who has been unable to get an abortion or has had to travel to get one in the last year.
