As storm moves on, Vermont and parts of Northeast still flooded

A Storm in Vermont and other parts of the Northeast has caused flooding and cut off access to some communities. No injuries or deaths have been reported in Vermont, but dozens of roads have been closed and flash flood warnings have been issued. President Joe Biden has declared an emergency in Vermont and authorized federal assistance. Some areas received between 7 and 9 inches of rain, and the state capital, Montpelier, has been affected by flooding. Swift water rescue crews have been deployed to assist in the area, and shelters have been set up for those affected.
