Shiv Sena workers in Amravati, Maharashtra, pulled down posters of MP Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana ahead of Uddhav Thackeray's visit to the city. The Rana couple had planned to recite Hanuman Chalisa, a Hindu prayer, during Thackeray's visit. It is worth noting that the couple was previously arrested in April last year for calling on people to recite the prayer in front of Thackeray's residence. Thackeray is currently on a two-day tour of Vidarbha.
