Haiti marks two year anniversary of Jovenel Moise

Haitian officials gathered at the National Pantheon Museum to commemorate the second anniversary of the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse. While the investigation in Haiti has made little progress, US authorities have arrested 11 suspects and convicted one. Prime Minister Ariel Henry emphasized the importance of justice and stated that he is doing everything possible to help the judicial system move forward. The UN special envoy to Haiti also called for the responsible individuals to be brought to justice. Over 40 suspects, including 18 former Colombian soldiers, are currently imprisoned in Haiti.
