Kashmir Railway on Track: Around 95% Work Completed on Katra-Banihal Section

Around 95% of the work on the Katra-Banihal route in Kashmir has been completed, according to the Northern Railways. The project is part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project, which aims to connect the Kashmir valley to the rest of India. Out of the total 272 km project, 161 km of railway track has already been commissioned. The remaining 111 km section is nearly complete, and the project is expected to be fully operational by December or January. The USBRL project is an important step towards the overall development of the region.
