French investigators have issued a second international arrest warrant against former Renault-Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn, according to a source close to the case. The warrant was issued after Ghosn failed to appear in court on charges of corruption. Ghosn is currently living in Lebanon after escaping from Japanese custody in 2019. The previous warrant, issued in April 2022, targeted Ghosn over allegations of abuse of company funds and money laundering. The latest warrant could be the final step in a separate probe into corruption, bribery, influence peddling, abuse of company funds, and receiving stolen goods.
