A 62-year-old woman, who is a family member of an Elderly Adelaide Couple, has been arrested and is expected to be charged with murder. Brenda Anderson, 94, and her husband Lynton, also 94, died from drug overdoses after being deliberately administered medication. Brenda died at Flinders Medical Centre in March 2022, while Lynton died at the same venue in May 2022. Police allege that Brenda was given the fatal dose while being treated at Noarlunga Hospital, while Lynton was overdosed at his Hackham home. The woman will be refused police bail and is likely to appear in court soon.
