Amarnath Yatra: Third Batch of Pilgrims Leave for Kashmir

A third batch of 4,903 Pilgrims have left Jammu to join the Amarnath Yatra, a popular annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave shrine in the south Kashmir Himalayas. This brings the total number of pilgrims to 12,807 since the first batch was flagged off on June 30. Over 8,000 pilgrims have already offered prayers at the shrine on the first day of the 62-day yatra. So far, more than 3.5 lakh people have registered online for the pilgrimage.
