Rwandan ex-gendarme on trial in Paris for genocide faces life sentence

Philippe Hategekimana, a former Rwandan policeman and French citizen, faces a life Sentence for his alleged role in the 1994 Genocide in Rwanda. The public prosecutor argued that Hategekimana was a "fundamental link" in the implementation of the genocide and called for the most severe sentence possible.
