Korea’s Alwayz aims to make online shopping fun again with $46M in funding

Korean e-commerce company Levit has raised $46 million in a Series B funding round led by DST Global Partners. Levit operates the Shopping app Alwayz, which aims to make online shopping more entertaining and affordable. Alwayz incorporates social features like short videos and games into the shopping experience, allowing users to earn rewards and discounts. The platform follows a consumer-to-manufacturer (C2M) model, offering high-quality products at lower prices by eliminating layers of distributors. Since its launch in September 2021, Alwayz has gained 7 million users and plans to expand to the US market.
