Prosecutors will seek death penalty against man accused of killing 4 University of Idaho students

Prosecutors are seeking the Death Penalty against Bryan Kohberger, who is accused of stabbing four University of Idaho students to death in November 2021. Kohberger, a criminology student at Washington State University, was arrested in Pennsylvania at his parents' home on December 30, 2021, and charged with four counts of murder. Prosecutors filed the notice of their intent to seek the death penalty on June 28, 2022, and a hearing in the case is scheduled for June 29, 2022. Kohberger's defense attorneys have filed motions asking for additional evidence and more time to meet case filing deadlines.
