Rescued Duckling Raised by Couple Returns to Their Home 6 Months Later–With 11 Chicks (LOOK)

A Couple in Leeds, England, who hand-reared a duckling named Freda, were astonished when she returned to their home six months later with 11 chicks. The mallard had been abandoned on a fishing lake, and the couple had been told she would not survive if left in the wild. Freda came to live in their three-bed house, slept in a box, by their feet or under the coffee table, and was fed on grubs. She flew the nest last October but returned in April with her new partner and brood of ducklings.
