Trans rights activists were allegedly attacked by far-right protesters at a Drag Queen Story time event for children in south London. The activists said they were assaulted by a small group of “fascist” demonstrators outside the Honor Oak pub on Saturday morning, with counter protesters breaking at least one window at the pub. Three people were arrested, two for assault and one for a public order offence. Some of the anti-trans protesters were from far-right groups such as the Football Lads Alliance and Britain First, while others were members of the conservative youth organisation Turning Point UK.
