A submersible called the Titan, which is controlled by a video game Controller, went missing during a deep-sea expedition to the Titanic wreckage with five people on board. The device, which resembles the widely available Logitech F710 wireless gamepad, is used in several aircraft and sea vessels and is made to a much higher level of reliability and quality than a random Xbox controller. While the joystick likely wouldn't act as an analog to the steering wheel of the vehicle, it would command a computer system within the vehicle that controls the steering. The Coast Guard has launched a search and rescue mission for the vessel.
