Border Security Force personnel are fully prepared for the Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage in Jammu and Kashmir, which is set to begin on July 1 and continue until August 31. The pilgrimage to the 3,880-metre-high cave shrine of Amarnath can be taken through two routes, the traditional 48-km route through Pahalgam and the 14-km shorter but steeper Baltal route. The BSF has made full preparations for the event and is fully geared up and alert.
