Business leaders and politicians from more than 60 countries met at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in London to pledge billions of euros in aid to help Rebuild Ukraine. The cost of reconstruction is estimated to be over €366bn, with €12.8bn needed for immediate aid. The Ukrainian president called for action rather than just pledges, and the European Commission President and ministers from the Group of Seven industrialised nations were in attendance. Over 400 companies from 38 countries have already committed to investing in Ukraine, and the US is due to announce a new assistance package.
