France and Germany have pledged financial aid to Tunisia to help it Curb Irregular Migration, following a visit from the interior ministers of both countries. France's Gérald Darmanin announced a budget to train Tunisian border guards and provide them with equipment. He also pledged bilateral aid of €25.8m ($28.8m) to Tunisia's interior minister. The funds come in addition to €1bn in aid offers from the European Commission earlier this month and new aid from Italy.
