Lee Miringoff, the director of the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion, said that Democrats and Republicans view Trump's indictment differently, with a large majority of Democrats believing he should be indicted, while Republicans are split on the issue. The poll also found that a majority of Americans believe that Trump should testify under oath in the ongoing investigations into the January 6th Capitol insurrection.
