Iran’s Raisi urges unity to ‘neutralize’ US sanctions in Nicaragua visit 

Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi has called for cooperation and unity with like-minded states, including Nicaragua and Cuba, to counter US sanctions during his Latin American tour. Raisi criticized the US as a "bullying" power and praised Latin America's leftist countries for resisting its dominance. He signed three agreements with Nicaraguan officials in energy, technology, and healthcare and was expected to finalize agreements on biotechnology, engineering, medicine, and energy in Cuba. However, figures of non-oil trade with the three states remained low, with Iran's share of the three countries' imports combined barely reaching half a percent last year.
