General Motors' electric Delivery van subsidiary, Brightdrop, has made its first delivery outside the US. The company delivered 50 of its Zevo 600 electric vans to FedEx Express Canada, part of an order of 2,500. FedEx Canada's first fleet of BrightDrop vehicles will be seen delivering parcels in Toronto, Montreal and Surrey. The Zevo 600 model is designed for last-mile deliveries and has an estimated range of 250 miles. GM invested around $750m into its CAMI Assembly plant in Ontario, which is expected to produce 50,000 Zevo vans annually by 2025.
