Raisi Says Iran, Venezuela Have ‘Common Enemies’

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has said that Iran and Venezuela have "common interests and we have common enemies" during a visit to the country. He met with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, and both countries signed agreements to expand cooperation in petrochemicals and mining. The two countries are under heavy US sanctions, and Raisi hopes to boost trade from $3 billion to $20 billion per year. Raisi is also touring allies in Latin America, stopping in Cuba and Nicaragua.
