Israeli PM accused of pushing legislation to help a Hollywood friend

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid testified in one of three corruption cases against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, claiming that Netanyahu twice tried to persuade him to back legislation that would have given Hollywood mogul Arnon Milchan millions in tax breaks. Netanyahu is accused of using his position of power to further Milchan's interests in exchange for gifts. Netanyahu denies any wrongdoing. The corruption charges have been at the center of a protracted political crisis in Israel, with Netanyahu forming a coalition with controversial far-right parties and politicians despite his legal problems.
