Scientists on an expedition by the Ocean Exploration Trust have sighted an extremely rare Jellyfish in the Pacific Ocean, 130 miles from Kingman Reef. The unusual creature is classified as undescribed, having no name or detailed description by any researchers. Only ever seen once before, on a 2015 expedition by the Ocean Exploration Trust, the creature boasts three long tentacles that sprout from the top of its head and is believed to prey on other jelly-like animals such as other jellyfish and swimming sea cucumbers.
