The two-member committee will submit its report within 24 hours. Dhanbad Deputy Commissioner Sandip Singh has also requested a report from BCCL about the incident and will take action against the outsourcing company if lapses are found on its part. The rescue operation has been suspended as no one was found trapped inside after the removal of the debris. Local officials have alleged that illegal mining has been carried out in the area for a long time.
