Chip giant Arm snubbed London for a NY listing. But the London Stock Exchange hasn’t given up hope

Arm, the British semiconductor company, is considering a New York listing for its initial public offering (IPO), but the CEO of the London Stock Exchange (LSE) has not given up hope that the firm could list in the UK in the future. Julia Hoggett said regulatory differences were among the reasons why Arm had chosen to list in the US, but believed the firm could have returned to its previous structure of listing in London and trading on US exchanges if not for those issues. Hoggett added that London was not an unattractive destination for tech firms.
