A man in Hyderabad, India has been arrested for killing his partner of 15 years, dismembering her body into six parts and storing them in his fridge. Chandra Mohan, who worked in the online stock market industry, killed Yarram Anuradha Reddy due to debts of INR 700,000 ($9,500) he owed her. After arguing over the debt on 12 May, Mohan stabbed Reddy with a knife. He then used stone cutting machines to decapitate her and store her limbs in a fridge. The case is similar to a 2020 murder in Delhi, where a man was accused of killing and dismembering his partner.
