South Carolina’s only women senators resist new abortion restrictions up for debate

The five women Senators in South Carolina have vowed to resist new abortion restrictions up for debate in the state's Senate. The coalition, known as the "sister senators," includes three Republicans, one Democrat, and one independent, and previously filibustered a near-total ban on abortion.
