Sudan’s warring sides agree to seven day ceasefire starting Monday

On Saturday, Saudi Arabia and the United States brokered a seven-day Ceasefire between Sudan's warring factions. The ceasefire will begin on Monday at 2145 local time and will be automatically renewed until a permanent ceasefire is reached. Many ceasefires have been announced and then immediately ignored in Sudan's conflict, which has killed hundreds of people and displaced more than a million people.
