Deaths as Senegal protests turn violent

In Senegal, protests supporting opposition leader Ousmane Sonko turned violent on Monday night, leading to the death of three people. The delay of Sonko's rape trial led to the unrest, which has continued into Tuesday. Sonko remains in Ziguinchor, where the unrest started on Monday.
